  1. Onion -chopped    2    nos.
  2. Ginger -chopped    1    piece
  3. Garlic -chopped    4    cloves
  4. Cumin Seeds     1    tsp
  5. Tomatoes -chopped    4    nos.
  6. Boiled Water     ½    cup
  7. Curry Leaves     3    stalks
  8. Coconut Milk     1    cup
  9. Green Chillies     3    nos.
  10. Garam Masala     ½    tsp
  11. Chilli Powder     1    tsp
  12. Coriander Powder     1    tsp
  13. Turmeric Powder     ½    tsp
  14. Cashew Nuts     10    g
  15. Raisins (Unakka Munthiri)     10    g
  16. Oil     2    tbsp


  1. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the onion till light brown and Keep aside 1/3 portion.
  2. Add the garlic, ginger,cumin seeds and tomatoes and green chillies. Cook till the oil separates.
  3. Add coriander powder,chilly powder turmeric powder and garam masala.Stir it well, add water into it.
  4. Let it simmer on low heat till the gravy thickens.
  5. Grind the 1/3 portion of fried onion,cashew nuts and raisins to a paste.
  6. Add this paste and coconut milk and cook it for 5 minutes till the gravy thickens.
  7. Add the sliced eggs and curry leaves.
  8. Serve it hot with best combination.
